National Residential Property Managers Hire Empire Communications Marketing Firm

The National Association of Residential Property Managers have hired Empire Communications Group to to develop and implement an integrated branding strategy and establish an annual public relations campaign to increase awareness among the public and the real estate industry.

Jacksonville, FL October 30, 2004 -- After a nationwide search by the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), the real estate organization has selected Empire Communications Group to develop and implement an integrated branding strategy and establish an annual public relations campaign to increase the awareness of its brand and services among the real estate industry and to the general public who rent or lease residential property. The Austin, Texas - based association selected Empire after interviews with agencies from Texas and Washington, D.C.

NARPM was founded in 1988 as a vehicle to promote professional and ethical practices among those employed in residential property management. The association provides continuing education to its members and offers two professional designations for individuals ? Residential Management Professional (RMP) and Master Property Manager (MPM). It also offers a professional designation to companies through the Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC). The association has over 65 chapters located from Florida to Hawaii. In addition to the U.S., the association has members located in Canada and Australia.

?The need for our services is growing,? explained Roy Bohrer, NARPM?s executive director. ?With the increased investment in residential real estate over the past few years, people need qualified, ethical professionals who know how to manage their property, competently and efficiently. We are at a point where we need to let the public know that there is a professionally trained group of people, available all over the country, who provide management services for residential homeowners. That?s why we have selected Empire.?

Last year Empire was selected by NARPM on a project basis to conduct research on the attitudes and perceptions among NARPM members and those in the real estate industry who could be potential members. This research will assist Empire with its branding process, beginning with internal image development.
